The initiative to “improve the contractual relationship”, one of the national transformation initiatives launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and the National Information Center, will be implemented starting tomorrow (Sunday).
The initiative provides three main services: job mobility service, development of exit and return mechanisms, and final exit.
The job mobility service allows a migrant worker to transfer to another job in the event that his contract expires without the need for the employer’s approval, and it also determines the transfer mechanisms during the contract’s validity period.
The exit and return service allows the expatriate worker to travel outside the Kingdom, and enables him to permanently exit through the final exit service, after the end of the contract and notify the employer electronically without the need for his approval, and the initiative also allows the worker to leave with bearing the consequences of the termination of the contract.
All expatriate workers in private sector establishments benefit from the services of the initiative, within specific controls that take into account the rights of the parties to the contractual relationship.
The initiative aims to support the Ministry’s vision of building an attractive job market, empowering human competencies and developing the work environment. Services will be provided through the Absher platform and the Qiwa platform of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
