The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development called on all workers in the public, private and non-profit sectors to abide by the precautionary measures, and to apply health regulations and social distancing in workplaces to ensure the safety of workers and visitors, in order to limit the spread of COVID-19, and to work in a healthy, safe work environment.
The Ministry stressed the need to take the necessary measures to prevent gatherings, apply social distancing, keenness on wearing masks, avoid hand shaking, and hold meetings virtually using visual communication means – as much as possible – instead of physical meetings. The Ministry also stressed on activating remote working as possible with the importance of applying a flexible working hours policy, ensure the use of electronic channels in obtaining services, and provide hand sanitizers at workplaces.
