The General Authority of Civil Aviation announced today, Tuesday, the launch of the initiative to nationalize jobs in the air transport sector.  The initiative included the localization of 28 specialized professions in the field of air transport, which would contribute to the localization of 10 thousand jobs in various specializations related to the aviation sector.

It also includes approval of the distribution of targets according to the developed implementation plan for the three years 2021, 2022 and 2023.  The authority confirmed that the initiative is the result of cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the Office of the National Employment Plan in the public and private sectors, which aims to localize several jobs, including pilot, host, air traffic controller, supervisor, flight yard coordinator, ground services, cargo handling, luggage, passengers, aircraft catering, and other related professions In the air transport sector.
