Jawazat : “Muqeem Digital ID” is available on the “Absher Individuals” application … and this is how it works

Today (Wednesday) the General Directorate of Passports launched the digital version of Muqeem’s identity, and it became available on the “Absher Individuals” application under the name “Muqeem Digital Identity”, in cooperation with the National Information Center.  The spokesperson, Captain Nasser Al-Otaibi, stated that the Muqeem digital ID will facilitate the process of verifying the identity of its resident holders in the event that they do not carry the original identity.

He added that the beneficiary will be able to view the identity data electronically through the application through the variable QR code, with the ability to download a copy of it on the smartphone device to use it without the need to connect to the Internet.  He emphasized that the Muqeem digital identity will be a turning point in the development of the digital transformation process and electronic transactions of individuals with the relevant sectors in the Ministry of Interior electronic platform “Absher Individuals”.
