Today (Monday), the committee formed from the emirate of Riyadh region, the region’s secretariat, the police and traffic, began implementing the decision of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City issued in 1439 AH, related to dealing with the situation of car showrooms in the Naseem neighborhood, east of the capital. The committee closed the entrances to the car showrooms in Al-Naseem, which had been planned for 44 years, in the sabbs and put traffic teams in place to prevent the entry of cars and allow only the exit of vehicles from the showrooms.
The control teams in the Naseem municipality had put up stickers on the car showrooms in the neighborhood, indicating that the site had been vacated of cars and any personal property that might hinder the closure. It is noteworthy that the Governor of Riyadh, Prince Faisal bin Bandar, instructed in 2017 to transfer the cars of Al-Naseem showrooms to Al-Qadisiyah neighborhood, after his approval of the study submitted by the High Authority for the Development of Riyadh regarding dealing with the situation of exhibitions.
