The General Directorate of Passports clarified today (Tuesday) the consequences of the resident worker’s failure to leave the final exit on the specified date, as well as what must be done if the resident then wishes to return to his country.  She added, in response to an inquiry raised by a person on her Twitter account, that if he does not leave within the validity period of the visa (60 days), a fine of one thousand riyals will be imposed on the resident in order to be able to cancel the visa.

It also stipulated the validity of a “resident ID” so that the worker could then complete the travel procedures.
