The outbreak of COVID-19 led to the closure of all kind of the educational centers and online classes were taken to prevent any loss. However, even after the lockdown was uplifted, the educational institutes remained closed and online education was taken into consideration to prevent the spread of this virus.

Recently, Saudi Education Minister Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Sheikh said that online education will continue even after the end of the Corona crisis. To know more, keep reading.

A Statement was given by the Saudi Education Minister

According to the local newspaper that the Saudi Education Minister said that,

Online method has become a permanent source of education which has proved its usefulness.

Visit the Educational Quality Testing Institute

The Saudi Education Minister visited the Educational Quality Testing Institute and said,

We want online education to continue in every school after Corona.

Statement by the Head of Education Quality Testing Institute

The head of the Education Quality Testing Institute, Dr. Ahmed Al-Issa said that, The Ministry of Education rapidly provided an alternative education system to the students during the Corona crisis.

What other steps were taken by the ministry to facilitate students?

He further explained about the other facilities provided by the ministry for the students and said, “in addition to online sources, the ministry has also launched “Ain” channel to help students read and understand lessons.

Successful experiment of online education

He explained that, in Saudi Arabia, online education has been a successful experiment and its usefulness is being recognized.

The Saudi Education Ministry has decided to continue online education even after the pandemic as it has turned to be a great experiment. Other sources like Ain channel were also proved useful for the understanding of the students.
