The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah revealed the mechanism for safely performing Umrah and the controls for providing internal Umrah companies and their qualified external agents, with the gradual reception of pilgrims from different countries of the world, starting from November 1.

And the protocols for the entitlement to Umrah, which include that the age group for overseas pilgrims be from 18 to 50 years, and to submit a PCR examination certificate with a negative result proving that they are free from the emerging corona virus issued by a reliable laboratory from the country of the pilgrim, provided that it does not exceed 72 hours from the time of taking the sample.

also includes confirmed flight reservations to go and return, according to the approved program for each pilgrim, in addition to pre-booking to perform Umrah and pray at the Grand Mosque, visit the Prophet’s Mosque and pray in the honorable kindergarten according to the controls and capacity.  It reviewed the mandatory components of the services package for each pilgrim, including housing service, 3 days of health isolation upon arrival to the Kingdom, transportation service between ports, in addition to comprehensive insurance service and field services such as transportation between the campus and housing, timetables and a guide leader for each group.
