The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in Saudi Arabia directed to open the Quba Mosque (the first mosque built in Islam) to worshipers and visitors, in accordance with health controls to prevent the outbreak of the new Corona virus (Covid-19).
Yesterday, on Friday, the Ministry represented by its branch in the Madina region began reopening the Quba Mosque before the Fajr prayer an hour until Isha prayer, in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh.
The ministry explained that this is to allow worshipers and visitors to pray in the mosque throughout the day while applying all health controls approved in mosques by the competent authorities to maintain the safety and health of worshipers from the Covid-19. – The Director General of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Branch, Sheikh Wajab bin Ali Al-Otaibi, confirmed Services are provided around the clock at Quba Mosque by trained cadres of male and female workers to serve worshipers and visitors by applying all health controls, continuing sterilization, cleaning, maintenance, and conducting the necessary checks at the entrances to the mosque.
