Ministry of Hajj and Umrah clarified today (Tuesday) the mechanism for organizing the entry of pilgrims, worshipers and visitors through the application of “Umrah,” after the issuance of the generous approval to allow the performance of Umrah and the visit gradually , while taking the necessary health precautions.

It stated that the application will enable those wishing to visit Makkah and Madinah to perform the Umrah, visit and prayers in the Two Holy Mosques, to organize the times of their rituals, pre-plan the trip, and to book optional services easily and easily, in a manner that ensures the application of controls and precautionary measures.  She added that the application will be available for use via smart devices (ios and Android) on the date of Safar 10, 1442 AH, corresponding to September 27, 2020 CE, seven days before the start of the first phase. 

The Ministry indicated that the registration of the data entered by the visitors of the Two Holy Mosques will be directly linked to the application of “Tawakolna”, and the linking process will include a number of procedures.  She mentioned that one of the procedures related to linking to the “Tawakkilna” application: providing a guarantee that the pilgrim or pilgrim is free from the new Corona virus, in addition to that the application includes allowing the selection of the appropriate time for the guest of Rahman according to the available dates, and also allows his choice of accompanying services that he wishes to provide him, such as choosing Means of transportation, assembly points, and service centers. 

The Ministry stressed the importance of the travelers of the Two Holy Mosques adhering to the precautionary measures that ensure their safety and health from wearing a muzzle, maintaining safe spacing distances, and adhering to the times and routes designated for each pilgrim and visitor.  The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah reaffirmed the Kingdom’s keenness to enable the pilgrims to perform the ritual in a safe and healthy manner, in a manner that fulfills the requirements of prevention and spatial separation necessary to ensure human safety and protect them from the threats of the Corona pandemic.
