Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is presently operating 23 weekly flights to different destinations in Saudi Arabia and plans to increase more flights starting September 30, local media report, quoting a statement from a PIA spokesperson.  The report said that the PIA had requested permission from Saudi Arabia to add another 28 flights due to the huge rush of bookings.  PIA spokesperson Abdullah Khan said additional flights will operate to and from different destinations in Saudi Arabia, including Jeddah, Medina, Riyadh and Dammam.  Abdullah Khan also said passengers planning to visit Saudi Arabia will have to necessarily present their corona (negative) test certificate, conducted 48 hours prior to their departure time.
