Schools in Saudi Arabia are set to reopen later this month. The ministry has suggested that the distance between the students should be kept within the physical distance. With this, the commercial and employment sectors related to the education sector in the country will also become active. The ministry is moving ahead with preparations to start 30 classes this month.Schools will be opened subject to the safety rules to be adopted in the Kovid context. Prior to this, the school and its surroundings have been cleaned and disinfected. Classrooms and toilets will be arranged in accordance with the Code of Conduct.

School learning materials, textbooks, library and play equipment will also be disinfected and sanitizers will be installed to ensure personal hygiene. Special training has been provided to the school staff to ensure and monitor the physical distance of the students.Schools and colleges across the country were closed on March 9 last year following the Kovid expansion. Schools across the country then operate through online classes. With the ministry’s decision to reopen schools after Kovida, there has been a revival in the school market and other sectors of employment in the country.
