Through a video call .. Deputy Minister of “Human Resources” discusses the conditions of Pakistani labor with a Pakistani official

The Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Dr. Abdullah Abu Athin, met yesterday (Monday) via video call, Special Assistant to the Pakistani Prime Minister for Expatriate Affairs Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari.

During the meeting, they discussed the developments in the labor market in the Kingdom after the Corona crisis and its impact on the workforce, and the Deputy Minister of Human Resources highlighted the initiative to enable expatriates to leave to their home countries.

For his part, Bukhari expressed his welcome to cooperate with the Kingdom to facilitate the urgent return of Pakistani workers to their countries, whether those whose contracts have expired and have a final exit or who wish to leave and return.

The two sides agreed on a mechanism to take advantage of this initiative, and Dr. Abdullah stressed the need to take advantage of it during the current period, through self-registration in the “Return” platform of Absher, to facilitate their travel to Pakistan easily and easily in the near future.
