The Ministry of Interior: A 24-hour curfew in the province of Baysh, and entry or exit from the city from Tuesday

The Ministry of Interior announced that it was decided that the curfew would be within 24 hours a day in the province of Baysh in the Jazan region and prevent entry into or exit from it, as of today, Tuesday 19 Ramadan 1441 AH, until further notice.

She explained that the decision does not include preventing entry and exit for groups excluded from employees of the vital sectors in the public and private sectors, whose actions require continuing to perform them during the prohibition period, according to what was stated in the Royal Decree No. 45942 dated 27/7/1441 AH.

And the Ministry of Interior stated that it allows – in a minimal scale – for the residents to leave their homes to meet only the necessary needs, such as health care and catering, within the residential neighborhood in which they reside, and during the period from 9 am to 5 pm daily.

Car transport within residential neighborhoods during this period is limited to only one person, in addition to the vehicle driver, to reduce contact with the minimum.

It was also decided to prevent the practice of any commercial activities, except for health facilities, pharmacies, foodstuff stores, gas stations, gas stores, banking services, maintenance and operation works, plumbing technicians, electrical and air conditioning, water delivery services as well as sanitation tanks.

The Ministry called on everyone to leave the house for adults, and in only necessary cases; in order to protect children from the causes of transmission, and that delivery services be used by smart device applications, to request food and drug needs and other excluded goods and services and deliver them to homes.

She emphasized that these measures were taken within the framework of the Kingdom’s efforts to preserve public health and prevent the spread of the Corona virus, and that it is subject to continuous evaluation with the competent health authorities.

The Ministry called on everyone to sense their individual responsibilities, to follow directions, and to adhere to the isolation measures, in the interest of the public interest.
